La Traviata is an opera composed by Giuseppe Verdi. The story focuses on Violetta Valéry, a courtesan in Paris. She often throws parties and has many admirers, including Baron Douphol. But deep down, she knows that none of them really care about her. The young man Alfredo Germont adores Violetta, but she is torn between romance and keeping her freedom. In time they begin living together, but money is short and Alfredo's father does not approve. In a misunderstanding, Alfredo suspects that Violetta still loves the Baron. Meanwhile, Violetta has tuberculosis and may not have long to live.
