Le Reve Theater at Wynn Las Vegas
Named for the 1932 painting by Pablo Picasso, Le Reve translates to mean "The Dream." Creators of the Las Vegas show aimed to give just that to their audience, a way to leave reality and enter a fantasy world. Le Reve was created by Franco Dragone; Dragone is also the creator of Cirque du Soleil – O and Celine Dion's show at Caesars Palace. The structure of Le Reve fits a similar mold that you would find in any Cirque du Soleil show. When you attend Le Reve you can count on seeing aerial acrobatics, provocative choreography and amazing athleticism; all these elements combined with enthralling music and special effects will leave you in awe.
On April 5, 2007, the Le Reve Theatre at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas re-opened after going through an $8 million renovation. Hotel owner Steve Wynn wanted to combine the visually stunning show with the luxury that people expect when they head to Las Vegas. Reducing capacity from 2087 to 1606, it gives those in the audience more room for comfort and provides a more intimate theatre experience. The show is similar to that of Cirque Du Soleil – O in that it is a show that combines theatrics with water. Le Reve takes place in a theatre in the round that has a one million gallon pool in the center. People that are looking to find a more luxurious night in Vegas can get the VIP package, which includes a cushioned seat with lots of leg room, champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries and a video screen to see angles of Le Reve that no one else can.
Le Reve's tagline is "Dream with your eyes open," and it surely will not disappoint those who are looking for a night like no other. For discounted Le Reve tickets, check out the selection at TicketNetwork!
