For more than 10 years, Menopause the Musical has entertained audiences across 450 U.S. cities and in 15 countries. Written by Jeanie Linders, the production includes parodies from the '60s, '70s, and '80s as it follows four women experiencing "The Change". The musical, meant to encourage a healthy dialogue about issues of aging and women's health, has also been seen touring in another rendition, "Breaking the Silence of Ovarian Cancer." It supports a nonprofit organization that supports women's health, education, and culture around the world.
Menopause the Musical follows four women shopping at a lingerie store. They seem to have nothing in common except one thing: menopause. Throughout the show, the four women commiserate and rejoice with parodies of 25 popular baby boomer-era songs, turning them into songs about chocolate cravings, memory issues, hot flashes and more. Celebrate and complain alongside your peers with Menopause the Musical tickets.
