Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what we were expecting My boyfriend and I went to this event with open minds and high optimism. We each had been to one Monster Truck event as kids and wanted to check it out again as adults. We were immediately disappointed when we walked in to see one jump in the middle of the arena with different types of sides. This made for an awkward set of events because the stadium was just too small. No amount of cocktails were helping bring the excitement up to what we had hoped it to be and we have the hangovers to prove it....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's been better In year's passed this was a great show. This year, not so much. It was dull for the first 30-45 minutes. There was no half time/intermission show this year like in year's passed. The event staff started getting annoying retelling how the scoring worked after every single truck performed. I think the B League was in St. Louis because a lot of the drivers were skittish during freestyle. For $80, I felt a little robbed by the end of the night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from except for the rain it was a good time Our family enjoyed the show. Grave digger was the bomb. Mutt was great. Dragon was great. Was surprise how good show was in such a small arena. More trucks duds than had hoped for. Rain made it difficult for the trucks to get traction, but all in all a very entertaining show. It was my youngest grandsons first time and he enjoyed the crashes after the first roll over that scared him and he started to cry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome event.. Horrible parking ramp experience This was everything it was suooosed to be! Trucks were awesome and seats were awesome. I'd recommend it for anyone really! The parking was a different story. We parked in the ramp connected to the skyway. We sat for 49 minutes before we even moved. Took an hour to get back on freeway. Whatever the holdup was needs to be remedied.. I'll walk across the state before I prk there again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome show This was the first Monster Jam my 4 year old son & I have ever been to! It was so amazing. The trucks were cool, the show held my son's attention the whole time, even the videos before & during intermission. We stood in line to get his shirt autographed and all the drivers were super friendly. The areana was clean, easy to find, parking was cheap, the food was good. Not one complaint!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gearhead from back in the day -- adrenalyn rush! There were a lot of kids and rednecks here, we were hooting and hollering. The trucks were impressive and drivers had a great attitude. A motorcycle stunt show in the middle would have been good. They did a lot with a way too small venue. The ATV races were fun too. It is LOUD, so bring earplugs. We had a blast. Would recommend it, especially for kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome time!! We took our 2 year old to see Monster Trucks and he absolutely loved it!! (aside from the headphones lol) we thought it would be a little bigger than it was, but it was still really awesome with all the tricks and stuff! We didn't know there would be ATV races too, we really liked that as well!! Go Grave Digger!!

Monster Jam Tickets | About Monster Jam Trucks

Monster Trucks came into being in the late 1970's, when modifying pickup trucks to compete in mud-bogging and truck-pulling sports became popular. Truck owners began "lifting" their trucks to compete in these events, and soon competition to possess the biggest and best truck developed. The first so-called "monster truck" belonged to Bob Chandler and was named Bigfoot. Chandler equipped Bigfoot with 48-inch tires and drove over a pair of cars in a field one day, in order to create a promotional video for his shop. An event promoter who saw the video thought that he could sell tickets to such an event, and asked if Bigfoot would perform in front of a crowd. Chandler agreed, and the Monster Jam was born.

In 1995, Monster Jam became the official name for USHRA monster truck events. Today, the Monster Jam is divided into two sections: racing and freestyle. Monster Jam tickets are available for events year round, but the competitive season runs from January to March, with the Monster Jam World Finals held at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas in late March.

The Monster Jam World Finals are considered to be the best display of monster truck racing of the year, where all the great drivers and trucks compete for world domination. Some exciting features of the Monster Jam World Finals will be extreme racing with top speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour and an extreme freestyle track with a wide variety of obstacles that will produce a large number of crashes and outrageous stunts!
