In 1981, Motley Crue was formed in Los Angeles, CA. The hair metal band originally consisted of Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and Mick Mars. Later, the group changed its name to Motley Crue. Their debut album, Too Fast for Love, came out in 1981. Next they released Shout at the Devil in 1983. In concert, Motley Crue provides wild spectator events with dancing girls, intricate lighting, and pyrotechnics.
The band members of Motley Crue are notorious for hedonistic lifestyles with drug addictions, alcohol, jail time, tattoos, and of course Girls, Girls, Girls. Despite the controversy, the group released several successful albums such as Generation Swine, Dr. Feelgood, and New Tattoo. Their latest album, Saints of Los Angeles, was originally going to be called The Dirt after the band's 2001 autobiography.
The original members of Motley Crue were musicians Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Vince Neil. Motley Crue has a wild and gritty history. For a few years, Randy Castillo replaced Tommy Lee as Motley Crue's drummer, but he died in 2002 and now Tommy Lee is back with the band.
