New Found Glory is an American rock band founded in Coral Spring, FL in 1997. The band was formed by band vocalist Jordan Pundik and bassist Ian Grushka, who enlisted in Stephen Klein to play rhythm guitar, Joe Marino on drums, and Chad Gilbert as the lead guitarist.
Towards the end of 1997, New Found Glory released their debut EP, It’s All About the Girls, which was distrusted by a small independent record label. After performing at venues up and down the East Coast the band caught the eye of Eulogy Recordings, who subsequently signed New Found Glory. The band went on to release their debut album, Nothing Gold Can Stay in 1999. The album went on to sell over 300,000 copies.
In the early 2000s, the band reached the height of their success, releasing the albums, New Found Glory (2000), Sticks and Stones (2002), and Catalyst (2004), all of which reached Gold Certification by the RIAA. The band also appeared as the headliner for Warped Tour and toured with Blink-182 and Green Day.
As of 2015, New Found Glory has released eight studio albums, with their most recent album Resurrection released in October 2014. In 2015, New Found Glory is embarking on a co-headlining tour alongside rock band Yellowcard. The tour is slated to make stops across the country throughout the fall months.
