November is a play that is set in the White House a week prior to Election Day. President Charles Smith has his hands full dealing with issues that move the country and his private life. He has grown largely unpopular over the course of his four years in office and knows that this November may very well introduce his last term as President of the United States. By his side through thick and thin is his aide Clarice Bernstein.
Struggling to make some last minute attempts at staying in office, the President, whose party affiliation is not clear, tries to solve issues ranging from civil unions to revealing the sources of campaign money. Smith embodies a variety of questionable qualities of his real-life predecessors. November takes the political arena and turns it into a political comedy.
November opened on January 17, 2008, at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theater and ran through July 13, 2008. If you would like to find out whether President Charles Smith will extend his stay in the White House in a production near you, look for November tickets above.
