As Paramore celebrates the release of their brand new critically acclaimed fourth album, they are on tour in North America, primarily visiting east coast cities. Check out the schedule below to see upcoming tour dates and available Paramore tickets.
Formed in 2004, Paramore is the brainchild of Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and brothers Josh and Zac Farro. Williams' neighbor, Jason Bynum, was soon added on rhythm guitar. After signing with label Fueled By Ramen, the band started off by touring smaller venues in the southeast. However, after traveling to Orlando, FL, to record their debut album, All We Know Is Falling, Davis decided to leave the group. Thus, the album, and especially the title track, "All We Know," centered around Davis' departure. All We Know... was released in July 2005 to critical praise, but limited commercial success. Shortly after the release, Davis rejoined Paramore.
The album's critical fortunes helped the band begin to build a fanbase, and they covered Foo Fighters' "My Hero" for the companion album to the 2006 film Superman Returns, as well as performing at the 2006 Warped Tour. In late 2006, they launched their first headlining tour, to great success. The following year the band released their second album, Riot!, and had their first commercial successful. Afterwards, the band toured extensively to support the album, finally ending the Riot! era in late 2008 with a tour aptly named "The Final Riot!"
In early 2008, the band began work on the third album, Brand New Eyes. By this point, the band had been through two rhythm guitarists, with Bynum having departed in late 2005 and replaced with Hunter Lamb. Lamb himself left in 2007 to get married, and the band continued on as a quartet. Brand New Eyes was released in September 2009, and would be the last album featuring the Farro brothers, who left in late 2010. The album was received mostly positively and found slightly less commercial success compared to All We Know Is Falling. Following the release, the band again toured extensively, including a spring 2010 run that featured an up-and-coming Fun. as special guest. They also headlined the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. Paramore released its fourth self-titled album in April 2013.
