About Paul Anka

Over a career that has spanned a half century, Paul Anka has carved himself an incredibly legendary career. Beginning as a teen idol in 1957 with his single "Diana," Paul Anka has driven himself to be successful both personally and professionally. To this day, his classic songs still get stuck in the heads of the young and old alike. Get your Paul Anka tickets before they are gone!

In 1957, Anka auditioned for ABC in New York City where he sang what ended up being his first single, "Diana." The single was released later that year on the ABC-Paramount label and quickly rose to #1 on the Billboard chart. The single helped Paul Anka reach teen idol status and his catchy songs would quickly rise up the music charts. He recorded hit singles like "Crazy Love," "You Are My Destiny," "Lonely Boy" and perhaps his most recognizable song, "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." Paul Anka did not record an album for the ten years between 1962 and 1972. His comeback included a duet with Odia Coates called "(You're) Having My Baby," which proved to be the first #1 single from Anka in 15 years.

By the 1970's Paul Anka became a regular Las Vegas performer and built up a huge following. His classic songs became a staple of any Paul Anka concert, and as he moves through the new millennium and continues to tour, fans continue to fill the seats.
