Paul Potts is the winner of a show called Britain's Got Talent. He had a rough childhood growing up in Bristol, England, as he was bullied by classmates for his figure and love for singing. Before winning the contest, Paul Potts worked in a supermarket and as a salesman for cell phones. He also experienced a streak of bad luck that could've easily kept him from even appearing on the show.
But once Paul Potts made it onto the stage of Britain's Got Talent, he managed to impress someone who isn't exactly known for his niceness in the United States. His name is Simon Cowell, and he happens to not only be a judge on American Idol but also the creator of both Britain and America's Got Talent.
At first, nobody really believed that Paul Potts could win the competition by signing opera. But in June of 2007 "Nessum dorma" turned out to be a success with the British fans. By December of 2007, he was greeted by Prime Minister Brown for selling 2 million copies of his first album One Chance.
Paul Potts is currently on tour in Great Britain and will be visiting the United States shortly thereafter. To make sure you will get the best seats for one of Paul Potts' shows, go to TicketNetwork today and get your tickets.
