The Pitchfork Music Festival returns to Union Park in Chicago this July with a great lineup of indie, hip-hop, and electronica bands. Check the schedule below for single- or three-day passes, then get your Pitchfork Music Festival tickets today!
The Intonation Festival, the forerunner of the Pitchfork Festival, was first managed in 2005 by Pitchfork Media, working for promotion company Skyline Chicago. The following year Pitchfork launched their own festival, inviting more than 40 indie bands to play at Union Park in Chicago.
In 2007, Skyline opted not to renew its festival, leaving Pitchfork as the only big early summer event. Since then Pitchfork Music Festival tickets have sold out for the Union Park event every year by scheduling bands like Broken Social Scene, LCD Soundsystem, Public Enemy, and Sonic Youth.
