About Priscilla Queen of the Desert Tickets

Priscilla Queen of the Desert is based on a 1994 Australian film called The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. After receiving positive reviews and gaining a cult following, a musical was created, making its debut in Sydney, Australia, in 2006. The production has since made its way to New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and Broadway. The Broadway production was nominated for two Tony Awards, and it won for Best Costume Design of a Musical. Priscilla Queen of the Desert Plot Summary

Priscilla Queen of the Desert follows a drag queen named Mitzi Del Bra (whose "real" name is Anthony "Tick" Belrose) and two friends on a journey to faraway Alice Springs, Australia. Mitzi and her friends, transsexual woman Bernadette Bassenger and fellow drag queen Felicia Jollygoodfellow (aka Adam Whitely), embark on a trip on a tour bus called "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and hilarity ensues.
