About Cinderella Tickets

Rodgers and Hammerstein first wrote their version of the Cinderella tale in 1957, which premiered in a movie starring Julie Andrews. The movie was remade twice, once in 1965 with Lesley Ann Warren and once in 1997 starring Brandy. The show was adapted and first performed on stage in 1958 at the London Coliseum, and the stage production has been performed hundreds of times by professional and amateur theater companies.

For its 2013 Broadway debut, a new book has been written by Douglas Carter Beane, who also wrote the book for Broadway's Lysistrata Jones and tweaked the book for the Sister Act musical. Along with the new book, several Rodgers and Hammerstein songs from other musicals have been added to this production, making for a unique theatre experience for anyone with Cinderella tickets.

Cinderella Plot Summary

Cinderella is a classic tale, about a girl with a stepmother and two stepsisters that make her do whatever they tell her. As the production begins, invitations are being sent out for the prince's grand ball. Cinderella's stepmother won't let her attend, but with a little help from her fairy godmother, Cinderella might just make it after all. Find out how the story ends with Cinderella tickets.
