About the Giants

Home Stadium: AT&T Park

Opened:2000
Seating Capacity:41,915
Address:24 Willie Mays Plaza
San Francisco, CA 94107

The San Francisco Giants are one of the oldest franchises in MLB, dating back to 1883. Commonly known as The G-Men, the California-based team was originally based in New York, where they established a long-standing, sometimes brutal rivalry with their neighbors, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Although the Giants and Dodgers both made the move to the West Coast, the rivalry still stands to this day. As a result of their location swap, the Giants have called six different ballparks home. The team now hang their hats at AT&T Park.

With seven World Series titles under their belt, the Giants rank second in the National League (just behind the Cardinals) and fifth overall (behind the Yankees, Cardinals, Athletics, and Red Sox). The team is among the most successful in the league; they've won the most games of any team in both the history of American baseball and North American professional sports. The Giants also have the most Hall of Fame players in Major League Baseball, including famed player Willie Mays.

Currently led by players like pitchers Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum as well as outfielder Hunter Pence, the Giants could continue their history of success as they head into this year's World Series.

Head to AT&T Park to see the G-Men play live, with tickets at TicketNetwork.com!
