Steel Panther Biography

Steel Panther was founded in Los Angeles in 2000 as a comedy-glam metal band. Consisting of Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx, and Stix Zadinia, the band was formed under the name Metal Shop and often performed at bars and clubs along the Sunset Strip, including frequent performances at the Viper Room and the Key Club.

After gaining a descent following, Steel Panther self-released their debut album, Hole Patrol in 2003. In 2008, the band changed their name to Steel Panther, and the following year, they released their debut studio album, Feel the Steel. Feel the Steel featured the singles "Death to All But Metal" and "Community Property."

Steel Panther released their most recent album, All You Can Eat, in 2014. The album received mixed reviews from critics.
