Anchoring the show were Broadway superstars Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth, playing the roles of Gomez Addams and Morticia Addams, respectively, and Lane received high praise for his work. The Broadway production of The Addams Family closed on December 31, 2011, after running for 725 performances.

The Addams Family Plot Summary

Daughter Wednesday has invited over her normal boyfriend Lucas Beineke and his parents, Mal and Alice, to dinner to meet her family. Little do either set of parents realize that the teens want to announce their plan to get married, but before the big announcement can even be made, Lucas’ mother drinks a potion designed to bring out someone’s dark nature and a number of complications arise.
