The Budweiser Superfest was originally founded in 1979. The annual show featured some of the hottest names in R&B, including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, TLC, Luther Vandross, and many others, before ending in 1999. After an 11-year hiatus, the Budweiser Festival returned with a new generation of stars.
