The King and I Tickets

A Broadway classic, The King and I triumphantly returns to the stage in its fourth Broadway revival, starring Ken Watanabe (Inception, The Last Samurai, Batman Begins) as the endearingly prickly King of Siam alongside Kelli O'Hara's perfectly prim Anna Leonowens. A revival whose time was long overdue, the talented cast and breathtaking set and costume design will surely make this show a Broadway hit all over again. Playing through January 2016 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

The King and I Plot Summary

The widowed governess, Anna, leaves her home in England with her young son in tow after accepting a job as the live-in educator for the King of Siam's many children. Both stubborn and assured of their righteousness, Anna and the King continually butt heads and trade verbal jabs, all while coming to terms with their unspoken and mutual affection, all set against the backdrop of 19th century imperialism and the early women's rights movement. An epic based upon the 1944 novel by Margaret Langdon, Anna and the King of Siam, you won't want to miss The King and I on Broadway.
