In 1837, Hans Christian Andersen wrote The Little Mermaid in Denmark. People love this classic tale, which still appeals to audiences today. In 1872, The Little Mermaid was translated into English for the first time. Later, Disney turned the fairy tale into an animated film. The movie version of The Little Mermaid gives the tale a Disney twist. The movie tells the story of the young mermaid, Ariel, who is fascinated with the human world and has fallen in love with the human Prince Eric. Curious about life on dry ground, Ariel can't stop wanting to try it out for herself. As the daughter of King Triton, Ariel has a good life, friends, and a collection of artifacts from the land. But that's not enough to make her happy. The mermaid is restless and bored. Like many young people, she wants to explore new worlds and not stay in the same place where she's lived all of her life. Ariel goes to the evil sea witch, Ursula, for help. Ursula is Ariel's father's sister, and looks pretty scary. But Ariel stands her ground. Ursula promises to turn Ariel into a human for three days, in exchange for her voice. If Ariel can obtain a kiss of true love from Prince Eric within the three days, she can remain human forever. If not, she will become Ursula's slave. If you want to know how the story turns out, find cheap Little Mermaid tickets on TicketNetwork.
