As a former drug dealer, Jackie, who's just been released from prison, is struggling to re-join the American workforce — particularly when his girlfriend, Veronica, still uses cocaine. One evening, Jackie stumbles upon a hat in Veronica's apartment. It's not his. He immediately believes Veronica has been cheating and goes to his his drug and parole counseler, Ralph D., for advice.
