The Road to Mecca Tickets

The Road to Mecca is a critically acclaimed dramatic play written by South African playwright Athol Fugard. Fugard found inspiration for the play in the story of Helen Martins, a South African woman who fought against the closed-minded ideals of the community she lived in during the pre-apartheid era of the country. The play debuted in London at the National Theatre before coming to the US, first as a play and later as a movie adaptation staring Kathy Bates. The Road to Mecca also took a turn on Broadway at the Roundabout Theatre with an all-star cast that included Tony Award, Golden Globe Award, and Emmy Award winner Rosemary Harris alongside castmates Carla Gugino and Tony winner Jim Dale. The production ran from December 16, 2011, to March 4, 2012. Don’t miss your chance to see this tribute to the indomitable spirit of a true artist; find Road to Mecca tickets today!
