Rated 5 out of 5 by from An emotional and inspiring experience I have never been to a concert with so much raw emotion and energy, in addition to the excellent performances of the members of the Hip. Gord barely said a word - he didn't need to. He expressed everything he was feeling through his music and body language. The atmosphere was drenched with nostalgia, sadness, enthusiasm... all possible emotions all in one night!

The Tragically Hip Biography

The Tragically Hip was formed in 1984 in Kingston, Ontario where Gordon Downie, Rob Baker and Gord Sinclair were all students. They played local venues in the late 80s before signing with the record label MCA. After that they release their EP The Tragically Hip and followed that with Up to Here in 1989. Since then they have been a very successful alternative rock group in Canada.

The Tragically Hip has recorded 14 studio albums and have won 14 Juno Awards, one of the biggest awards a Canadian musician or group can win. If you are a true fan of The Tragically Hip this will be the last time to see the original band members while they are on tour. Unexpectedly, front man Gordon Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier in 2016, but has promised the fans of The Tragically Hip one last tour for being so loyal all these years.
