Climbing to the tops of hip hop stardom, The Weeknd tickets have become top sellers. Abel Tesfaye, better known by his stage name The Weeknd, was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1990 to Ethiopian immigrants. Growing up, The Weeknd listened to a variety of music genres, including soul, hip hop, and indie rock. Once in high school, The Weeknd decided music was something he wanted to pursue professionally and ultimately dropped out at the age of 17, never knowing the demand for The Weekend concert tickets would end up as hot as it is.
In 2010, The Weeknd uploaded a handful of songs to YouTube. The tracks quickly gained popularity on the video-sharing website, due in large part to a blog posted by Drake that featured the songs. Eventually, the tracks were covered by media outlets, including Pitchfork and The New York Times. At that point people started asking for tickets for The Weeknd in concert.
Three months later, The Weeknd released his debut mixtape, House of Balloons, which included the popular track, “Wicked Games.” Later that year, he also released the mixtapes, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. The three mixtapes came to be known as the Balloons Trilogy. Along the way The Weeknd was performing concerts for his growing legion of fans.
In 2013, The Weeknd released his debut album, Kiss Land, which debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200. The album received generally positive reviews from music critics and featured songs such as “Kiss Land” and “Live For.” And right around that time The Weekend tickets started to become some of the hottest in hip hop.
Recently, The Weeknd released his sophomore album, Beauty Behind the Madness. The album featured the song “Can’t Feel My Face,” which is his most popular single to date and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. In November 2015, The Weeknd is embarking on The Madness Fall Tour in the album’s support. Opening for the singer will be Travi$ Scott, Halsey and Banks. Although The Weeknd tickets are going fast, with a large ticket inventory displayed on TicketNetwork.com, you can choose through a vast selection of The Weeknd tickets to see him live in concert in 2016.
