Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful!! Entertaining!! Never disappoints!!! Once again a night of entertaining at a level not seen too often in a concert atmosphere. Andy had more of a play list to provide this time and was equally energetic with every song. This sequenced nicely with a ever so dynamic, and fun fill night with Train!!! Full set with a new portion that played tributes to Prince, and David Bowie. It was like they were there!!!

About Train

Rock band Train, was formed in San Francisco in 1993. Before the band was created, Pat Monahan, Train's lead singer and co-founder was part of a Led Zeppelin cover band in Pennsylvania. After the band broke up, Monahan headed west to California, where he met Rob Hotckiss, who played in local cafes and bars. The two decided to form a band and enlisted Jimmy Stafford on guitar, Scott Underwood on drums, and Charlie Colin on bass. After an unsuccessful attempt to get signed under Columbia Records in 1996, Train released their first self-titled album independently in 1998.

The album, which included hits, such as "Free," "Meet Virginia," and "I Am" quickly brought the band national fame as well as a platinum certification by the RIAA. Their second album, Drops of Jupitar was released in 2001 and became the band's first multi-platinum album.

Two years later in 2003, band co-founder Rob Hotchkiss left the band citing creative differences. After Hotchkiss' departure, the band would go on to release five more albums, most recently Bulletproof Picasso in 2014. In 2015, Train will be going on Tour with The Fray and Matt Nathanson.
