About the Wanee Music Festival

The Wanee Music Festival is the brainchild of the Allman Brothers Band. Launched in 2005, the Wanee Festival features a collection of jam bands like the Allman Brothers, but also includes acts specializing in blues, jazz, soul, and funk music. Previous years have featured bands such as Widespread Panic, The Doobie Brothers, the Black Keys, and Buddy Guy. Originally a two-day festival, Wanee switched to a three-day format in 2011.
