Wiz Khalifa - "Khalifa" Album

Wiz Khalifa released his sixth studio album, Khalifa in February 5, 2016. The 13 track album featured the single "Bake Sale," which featured contributions from Travis Scott.

The album received mixed reviews from critics, and debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200. The album only sold 64,000 units in its first week, however, there was little promotion ahead of its release.

Wiz Khalifa Biography

Wiz Khalifa started his career with Rostrum Records, an independent record label he joined in 2005. He released a number of mixtapes under the label (Prince of the City being the first) and his debut album, Show and Prove in 2006 was the first of many successful projects by the rapper. The following year, Wiz Khalifa signed his first major record deal with Warner Bros. Records and followed that up with the release of two street accredited mixtapes: Prince of the City 2 & Grow Season. In 2009, Wiz Khalifa parted ways with Warner Bros.

Continuing his relationship with Rostrum Records, Wiz Khalifa released his second studio album Deal or No Deal in 2009 which featured a more pop-melodic style that appealed to the masses. This led to him signing with Atlantic Records, a major force in the music world, and from 2010-2012 he released two major albums: Rolling Papers and O.N.I.F.C. Both albums debuted at #2, ultimately propelling the Pittsburgh born rapper into stardom.

As of 2016, Wiz Khalifa has released a total of six studio albums.
