About WrestleMania
WrestleMania was created in 1985 by WWE lead man Vince McMahon. WrestleMania is one of the most well known professional wrestling events. Produced annually since 1985, Wrestlemania is the championship that brings together all the WWE brands in a final showdown. Typically, two wrestlers will match up to win the championship title, but during the 2000 Wrestlemania, Triple H, The Rock, The Big Show, and Mick Foley faced each other in a "fatal four-way elimination match." The type of match is pre-determined and has ranged from a "no disqualification match" to a "steel cage match" over the years. WestleMania has made stars of many of its participants, including Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and The Rock.
The championship has traditionally seen many celebrities attend in varying levels of participation. Some attending celebrities, including Donald Trump, have coached wrestlers. Others, such as Mr. T, have participated in matches alongside the wrestlers. Although WrestleMania is typically held in United States venues, it has twice taken place outside the U.S., in Toronto, Canada.About the WWE
