About the WWE

The WWE is the largest professional wrestling promotion in the world. Encompassing the brands WWE: Raw, WWE: Smackdown!, and WWE: Extreme Championship Wrestling, WWE wrestling is what you want to watch when you need some intense excitement, colorful characters, or serious action.

WWE: Raw was created and first aired as WWF Monday Night Raw on January 11, 1993. WWE: Raw broke new ground in professional wrestling because it was filmed in front of a live audience, whereas other wrestling shows were often taped on sound stages and dubbed over. Over the years, WWE: Raw has been the Monday night wrestling show to watch, as the characters and storylines have gotten ever more twisted, exciting, and intense. When you buy WWE: Raw tickets, you can see all of your favorite wrestlers like Triple H, Chris Jericho, Hardcore Holly, and Cody Rhodes live and in the flesh.

WWE: Smackdown! first aired on April 29, 1999, and has been going strong ever since. Though WWE: Smackdown! first aired on Thursdays, the program moved to its current Friday night timeslot on September 9, 2005. Smackdown! is usually filmed on Tuesdays, though it is sometimes taped in a Monday Supershow before or after Raw. Get your WWE: Smackdown! tickets to watch your favorite personalities like The Undertaker, John Morrison, Matt Hardy, and The Miz perform live on the new HD set!

WWE: Extreme Championship Wrestling, or the ECW for short, is the newest WWE program to debut. The ECW first aired on June 13, 2006, and is a revival of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling that lasted from 1992 to 2001. The ECW is slightly different from Raw and Smackdown in that the male performers are called "Extremists" instead of "Superstars," and the women are called "Vixens" instead of "Divas." ECW is filmed and aired live on Tuesdays either before or after Smackdown!, depending on the time zone. Get your WWE: Extreme Championship Wrestling tickets at TicketNetwork today to catch all your favorites in action like Kane, Boogeyman, and Matt Striker.
