About  Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers Tickets 2019 Season Outlook

In a bid to boost the performance of the team, Carolina Panthers has made several draft picks. Brian Burns for the linebacker position, Greg Little as a tackle, Will Grier as a quarterback and Jordan Scarlett as a running back are some of the new additions to the team. New signings include Cole Hunt, Marcus Baugh and Thomas Duarte for tight end position, with Chris Hogan and Rashad Ross being signed as wideouts. For Ron Rivera, the head coach, 2019 will be his ninth season with the Panthers. He brings his wealth of experience that has seen him emerge as NFL Coach of the Year twice in the past. The anchors of the team are still Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey and Luke Kuechly. With these three leading the way, the infusion of talent that the Panthers drafted will benefit greatly.

History of Carolina Panthers

Bank of America stadium, the home field of the Carolina Panthers since 1996, is a notoriously difficult place to play in the NFL. Previously, the Panthers played at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, but now play their games and hold their practices in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Bank of America Stadium. Impressively, the Panthers are the only team in the NFL to own the stadium they play in and the facilities they use. Throughout their years in the NFL, Carolina has developed a few heated rivalries! Since the Panthers became a team in 1995 they have played the Atlanta Falcons twice a year and continue to do so as they are both in the NFC south. Charlotte and Atlanta are a mere 200 miles from each other geographically so Atlanta home games are frequently filled with Panther fans, and the same goes for Carolina home games and Falcon fans. This rivalry remains heated now in 2018, with both teams being praised as title contenders.
