The Dallas Cowboys have a pivotal season ahead of them. With the most talented team in the NFC East, the expectations in Dallas are always through the roof. Fast forward to 2022, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott will again be tasked with taking this team to the playoffs and beyond. The Cowboys and their fan base has been craving a Super Bowl win since the early 90s. Two new additions that should be huge factors for the Cowboys and change their fortunes include Head Coach Mike McCarthy and first-round draft choice, wide reveiver CeeDee Lamb.

McCarthy has championship experience as he was able to win a title in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers. Lamb is a top prospect that has been torching college cornerbacks for years now. He has Hall of Fame talent and the Cowboys are hoping he realizes his potential very quickly. Dallas Cowboys tickets never last long so be sure to secure your tickets today!

History of Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are currently the most valuable sports franchise in the world, valued at 6.5 billion U.S. dollars. To go along with this incredible valuation, they play their football games at AT&T Stadium which was completed in 2009 – Its price tag? $1.3 billion. AT&T Stadium is the second largest domed stadium in the world, and has the largest HD Television screen hanging in the middle of the stadium, it is 160 feet long. The Dallas Cowboys continue to use their original logo, the Blue Star, one of the most recognizable in all sports. A simple logo in color, it matches the Cowboys jerseys – Navy Blue, white, and the iconic metallic silver.

Established in 1960, the Dallas Cowboys have become one of the most iconic franchises in sports. Known as "America's Team,&q uot; the Cowboys name is synonymous with winning and championships. With his symbolic suit and hat, the team's first head coach, Tom Landry, established the Cowboys' winning ways. Landry coached the Cowboys for 29 years, and while it took time to bring the team to the championship level, the franchise enjoyed nearly two decades of success under the Hall of Fame coach. Compiling a record of 270-178-6, he has the third most victories for a head coach ever.

After a great deal of drama between team owners, the Cowboys were able to join the NFL in 1960. After they established their foothold in the league they quickly became a dominant team, making 5 Super Bowl appearances and winning two of them between 1970 and 1979. The Cowboys continued to find success, making the NFL playoffs in most of their seasons until they fell on hard times in 1986. After multiple losing seasons, the Cowboys were sold to their current owner, Jerry Jones in 1989. In Jerry Jones' first season as owners the Cowboys finished with a 1-15 record, but were able to make the infamous trade, acquiring multiple draft picks which they would later use to rebuild the team to new heights. One of these new acquisitions of Emmitt Smith, who they acquired in 1990, a player now regarded as one of the best running backs to play the game of football.

The team also boasts a rich history of great players, teams and championships that fans have bought Cowboys tickets over the years to see. If you head to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, you will find a total of nine former Cowboys players and coaches enshrined for their greatness on the field. Those players and coaches helped lead their Cowboys teams to five Super Bowl championships in eight appearances in the big game.

In the 1990's, the Cowboys were the most dominant team of the decade, winning three Super Bowls in four years. The team was led by three future Hall-of-Famers during the period: Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin. The big three annually helped the team to be among the most unstoppable offenses and began their string of greatness in 1992, when they defeated the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVII. The following year, the team ended their season in familiar fashion, beating the Bills once again. After a loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game the next year, Dallas defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers to complete their stretch of 3 titles in 4 years.

In 1992 the Cowboys won Super Bowl XXVII, defeating the Buffalo Bills, and would go on to win Super Bowl XXVIII next year, again defeating those same Buffalo Bills. During their playoff march they defeated their rivals the Washington Redskins, cementing themselves as the top dog in the NFC East. This string of playoff victories continued, and culminated with another Super Bowl victory in 1995, their fifth title. After this season Dallas entered a tumultuous 10 years, filled with numerous highs and even more lows. There were a few bright spots throughout that decade, like naming Tony Romo the starter, and him rising to his superstar status. During this time Dallas Cowboys tickets always were about the most expensive in the NFL. There were no Super Bowl titles, and no conference championships won by the Cowboys, a bitter pill for fans to swallow. The rollercoaster ride that is the Dallas Cowboys is moving in a positive direction now, with some momentum from their successful season, "The Boys" are looking forward, and hoping to bring some more Super Bowl Rings back to Dallas.
