Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ball game Wow what a game. Wrigley Field- we sat in a baseball field where fans have sat for over 100 years. Historic site. Walk all the way around the outside and inside the stadium. A tour of history. And the game went to extra innings. Blue Jays scored two in the top of tenth and we thought the Cubs were dead. But bottom on tenth - two batters got on on third strike pass balls. Amazing. One run scores. Then a clutch single scores two more for the win. Cub fans went crazy. Friendly people. Standard baseball food. Beer, peanuts and hotdogs. We had a great time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO MUCH FUN!!! This game was the most fun sporting event I have ever attended! At first i was worried about fighting with the rivalry of home teams but everyone was friendly and good sports. The stadium was clean, and not too over crowded as far as lines for concessions and bathrooms. Fantastic job White Sox (except the final score)!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game! Love the Cubs! Great fun to watch a game by day in Las Vegas and then go have more fun at night. The only drawback is the venue. Cayman Field is terrible!!!!! Funky ball Field with too few concession stands making lines unbearably long. Beer choice is Bud, Bud Lite or Shock Top. Might as well just drink milk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cubbies Won PNC Park in Pittsburgh is a great place to watch a ballgame. Nice and compact and the fans are close to the action similar to Wrigley Field. My wife took me to this game for Father's Day and she couldn't have picked a better Father's Day Gift.

About the Cubs

The history of the Chicago Cubs baseball team is filled with ups and downs, as well as iconic figures on and off the field, all while residing in one of the most recognizable ballparks in baseball. It is no secret that the Cubs are known for their futility when it comes to winning world championships, having not won one since 1908, but you wouldn't know it by looking at their fans. Chicago Cubs tickets sell out for nearly every game, filling every seat at Wrigley Field to cheer on their Cubbies!

The franchise history dates back to 1876, but it wouldn't be for another 25 years that they would become known as the Chicago Cubs. The Chicago Daily News was the first to pen the name Cubs, but in the prior years the team was known as the White Stockings, Colts and Orphans. At the turn of the century, the Cubs were among the league's elite teams. In 1907 they claimed their first World Series title, defeating the Detroit Tigers in six games, only to repeat that feat again in 1908, once again knocking out the Tigers.

Over the remainder of the 1900's, the Cubs became known as the tough luck team. Whether it was blamed on management, players or the "Curse of the Billy Goat," the team has remained without a title since 1908. But in that same period of time, the Cubs and the city of Chicago have begun a love affair unmatched by almost any other city. Nearly every game, Chicagoans fill the friendly confines of Wrigley Field, the second oldest stadium only behind Boston's Fenway Park. During the seventh inning stretch of every home game, fans join together to root, root, root for the Cubbies, singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," a tradition started by legendary announcer Harry Caray, who is now immortalized by a statue that was erected outside of the stadium in his honor.

The team recently hired Theo Epstein as their new President of Baseball Operations, a man who helped orchestrate two World Series titles with the Red Sox. He brings a new-found level of expectations for the Cubs and their fans.

As the Cubbies look to win another title after ending their long drought, TicketNetwork.com can help connect you to Cubs tickets to catch them at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.
