Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chris Botti is the Best My family and I see many many shows. My kids are actually musicians and are into prog Metal and anything with heavy guitars. My wife loves more mellow and traditional music. I dig rock and jazz. Chris Botti is the show that we all love. We see him every year and always will. You have to love Chris. He is a musician above all musicians. He hires only the best musicians and singers. You can't not like his show. And on top of all of that, he is genuinely the nicest person in the world. And, he is totally cool if you take pics of the band. If you see Chris Botti, you are likely to meet Chris and he will remember you year after year. If you only see one band this year, see Chris Botti.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! A gift to my mother who is a longtime fan of Joshua Bell and we so enjoyed his music. Always a treat to attend the ASO as the acoustics are fantastic. Hopefully we will be able to purchase better seats (closer) next time. Looking forward to the next performance!

Chris Botti

Jazz music has been around since the early 1900s, when it developed in New Orleans, Louisiana. New Orleans lends its melting pot appeal and unique flavor to style, which incorporates a variety of instruments including clarinets, drums, saxophones, trombones, and trumpets. One of the most famous American jazz musicians was Louis Armstrong, and some popular contemporary jazz musicians include Kenny G. and Chris Botti.

Blues got its name from its extensive use of blue notes that are common across both jazz and blues music. Blues emerged in the latter parts of the 19th century in African American communities in the southern United States. At first developing amongst agricultural workers, blues music eventually spread north and contributed to the creation of other genres such as rhythm and blues. Like jazz, blues music incorporates clarinets, drums, saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and other instruments along with vocals. Modern blues artists include Etta James, B.B. King, and Taj Mahal.
