About Garbage

Current Tour:2015 Tour
First Album:Garbage (1995)

Stemming from earlier bands Spooner and Fire Town, Garbage was formed in 1993 by Duke Erikson and Butch Vig. After spending some time as producer for albums from bands such as Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins, Vig reunited with Erikson. They, along with his producing partner Steve Marker, and new recruit Shirley Manson of Angelfish and Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie, formed Garbage.

Garbage released their first self-titled album in August 1995. A critical and commercial success, Garbage gained a large fan base. They followed up with Version 2.0 (1998), hoping to improve on the sound created for the first album. The second album was also a success and encouraged a tour that lasted more than a year, giving all of their fans an opportunity to buy Garbage tickets.

Subsequent Garbage albums have not had as much commercial success as the first two albums. Despite this, Beautiful Garbage (2001), Bleed Like Me (2005), and Not Your Kind of People (2012), have all received highly positive critical reviews.

In 2015, Garbage is on tour, performing at smaller venues across North America. Buy your Garbage tickets today on and enjoy a Garbage concert in a city near you!
