Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ice hockey match It was my childhood dream to see NHL ice hockey match in Canada or USA. I've been born in ice hockey country Czechoslovakia so I love ice hockey competitions. I've been living in Australia for last 18years where we don't have any ice hockey. I enjoyed the match between Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs very much. My has been fulfilled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Habs and Salsa Salsa vs the White Jersey: Prior to the start of the game, some big guy swung into me in the hall as we were about to take our seats. We had just purchased pizza, nachos, and beer. He knocked the salsa ALL over my white Canadians jersey. I ran to wash it out, and was absolutely soaked for the rest of the game. I held it and wore a windbreaker instead. The staff at the Bell center were exceptional, and quick to help. The security man had the mess surrounded and cleaned up in seconds. They also recommend for the guy that hit me to replace or reimburse us. The Bell center concierge was so kind, and came to offer us vouchers for beer and nachos. Your staff is wonderful. They even remembered us on the way out after the game, and asked how the poor jersey was ..haha. Due to the fast response and kindness of your staff, it completely made up for the salsa mess. Please pass along our thanks to the excellent staff at the Bell Center. :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Habs vs Flyers Love watching live hockey, especially when the Habs win. No hassle ticket experience. If I had to state a negative, it would be the constant barrage of advertising and price gouging. I can live with paying $11.50 for a beer, but 6 bucks for water and 5 for the worst hot dogs in any sports venue. Poor quality food at ridiculous prices. I keep forgetting how bad the hot dogs are and always order one from habit and am annoyed at myself for being a fool each time. I found the constant "hand in my wallet" approach unsatisfying and left me cold. The TV timeouts are momentum killers and having two in the first period within two minutes of play was corporate greed at its finest. I am surprised that the urinals are not decked out with constant ad as the score board is. Actually more of an advert emitter than a scoreboard. Between commercials though, they did play a hockey game and I love the experience of being there, despite the push to buy buy buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfaction Guaranteed! I couldn't of been more satisfied, it was a first time experience for my son and he and I were very excited! Ticket network went above and beyond even getting us better seats than I initially thought to accommodate us!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the game and the atmosphere was great. However I thought that as I had row A I would we in the 1st row but there were AA, BB, CC, DD, EE ahead of me. Somewhat a disappointment.

About the Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens, founded in 1909 are the longest continuously operating professional ice hockey team in existence, as well as the only active NHL franchise to predate the creation of the NHL. Due to their long-running history, the Canadiens are often referred to as one the “Original Six,” even though the team was founded 23 years before the “Original Six” era began in 1942.

The Canadiens have won the Stanley Cup more times than any other NHL team, with 24 titles. For comparison, the team with the second most titles, the Toronto Maple Leafs, have won the Stanley Cup 13 times. Between 1953 and 1960, the team won six Stanley Cups, which included a record five straight from 1956 to 1960. From 1965 to 1979 the franchise added 10 more Stanley Cup victories to their name.

Since 2013, the Canadiens have played as part of the NHL's Atlantic Division. Previously part of the Northeast Division, the team moved to their current division as part of the league's realignment. Although the Canadiens haven’t won the Stanley Cup since the 1992-93 season, they have been division champions twice in the past ten years, most recently during the 2012-13 season.
