Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Game The stadium was great, seats had a good view, they hit you with fees as soon as you put in your credit card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reds at yankees Day game at 1 in Yankee stadium, drove to poughkeepsie to take train down for the first time. Myself and two brothers with 15 year old nephew who sees his first major league game. Got in as gate opened at 11 and toured monument park,Yankee museum and the great hall. Sat in section 129 just 4 rows from field, blazing sun was covered by clouds early that made it much more comfortable. Even without Aaron Judge playing it was a big Yankees win on a beautiful day. Had a smooth trip down and back with minimal wait times. Will plan on doing again. Photo of brothers and nephew with the babe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sent 2 duplicate bar codes for my 4 tickets My tickets (4) had 2 duplicate bar codes. The tickets showed 4 individual seats but when you went to the bar codes there were 2 for one seat and 2 for another. 2 of us got in and the other 2 set off alarms. We wasted an hour going to customer service and getting new tickets issued. Then had to get back in line and go through security again. We missed the whole first inning.

About the Yankees

Opened:2009
Seating Capacity: 50,291
Address:One East 161st Street
The Bronx, NY 10451

Few teams in professional sports have a long and storied history to match that of the New York Yankees. The 27-time World Series champion team has had a rabid fan base that fills Yankee Stadium year after year, making it difficult for any team to come to the Bronx. Put on your pinstripes and get your New York Yankees tickets at TicketNetwork.com as they battle for the AL East title.

The history of the New York Yankees begins back in 1903 when Frank Farrell and Bill Devery purchased a failing franchise out of Baltimore and moved it to New York. The team began under the nickname the Highlanders. It was not until 10 years later, when the team started playing their home games at the Polo Grounds, that they became known as the Yankees. In 1918, the fate of the New York Yankees changed forever with one decision to purchase Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox for $125,000. For his time with the Yankees, Ruth is known as perhaps the greatest baseball player to ever live and Yankee fans will always remember his greatness.

The New York Yankees have had many players reach the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Lou Gehrig was recognized for years as the iron man of baseball, playing in 2,130 straight games, a streak that lasted from 1925 to 1939. Aside from being immortalized by Paul Simon in song, Joe Dimaggio is also known for his incredible hitting streak. A record that still stands to this day, his 56-game hitting streak has not even been close to being touched in the years since it was set. From Mantle to Maris, from Rizzuto to Jackson, the New York Yankees have had too many great players to name them all.

Every season the Yankees are playing for the World Series title, and anything short of that is a failed season. It won't be easy for them this season though, as the American League East may be the most competitive division in all of Major League Baseball featuring teams like the Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays and, of course, their bitter rivals, the Boston Red Sox.
