Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super concert The venue really catered to the concert goers!! Had plenty of areas that had free water & ice also had misters to keep people cool, since it was 99* at 8:30pm. The staff was great, restrooms were cooled & cleaned. Service lines were excellent & quick! Parking coming & going was well, super job in the heat! Daughtery was good & Nickelback was AMAING! But we all new Nickelback would be, RIGHT? Plan on going to more concerts at Starlight!! Great place even when it is ungodly HOT!! Great Job!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most satisfying July 4th and concert to date! They were really really great! Really awesome light and video show, audio and vocals were crazy on point, they involved the crowd a lot and they plucked a very pretty brunette (and the guy who endorsed her) out of the crowd to sing kareoke alongside the entire band to the song Rockstar. They also did a couple shots on stage, gave a retired Cop a shot and thanked all the Veterans. Gold stars across the board in my book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome time. Great place to see a band. The band Nickelback with Daughtry was by far one of my favorite shows I have ever seen. It is such a great place to see a band! I did not care for the parking situation but always a problem in Chicago. Other then that and the new tax on the beverages. I was very impressed with the Huntington Pavillion and how personal of a show it was! One of the best

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was ok The band was ok but the venue really needs to crack down on the weed smoking. Had 3 ppl beside us passing a joint around and all I could smell was weed. Nothing against smokers but when your sitting beside someone who has kids or has to go to work the next day please smoke it somewhere else. They need more attendants at this place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good concert! I enjoyed the concert so much! Daughtry was amazing and Nickelback sang all of my favorite songs. The only thing I didn't like was Nickelback kept saying GD and I didn't like that at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best show ever! Awesome concert with incredible light show but I think being as close as we were sometimes could not hear the lyrics of the song because the music was so loud! But not to bad!

Nickelback formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, with an original lineup of Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger, and Brandon Kroeger. After relocating to Vancouver, the band released their first album, Curb, in 1996. Though Curb had a cult following, it did not perform well on the charts. Their independently-released sophomore effort, The State, fared little better, although two of its singles, "Leader of Men," and "Breathe," were the band's first singles to break the top 20.

Nickelback broke into the mainstream with the 2001 album Silver Side Up. Its single, "How You Remind Me," became an instant hit, eventually winning four Grammy nominations. Its parent album was equally successful, shooting up to number one in the band's native Canada, and topped or was near the top of the charts in several other countries.

Following Silver Side Up, the band followed up with several popular albums, including The Long Road, All the Right Reasons, and Dark Horse. Numerous singles are considered fan favorites, such as "Burn It to the Ground," "Never Gonna Be Alone," "Someday," and the triple-platinum selling "Rockstar."

Critics compare Nickelback's sound to post-grunge groups like Daughtry, Finger Eleven, and 3 Doors Down, but the group's popular appeal, as well as their ability to sell out a Nickelback concert, has brought them to a new level of success.
