Rated 4 out of 5 by from U2 Was Unbelievable The show was fantastic, almost everything I'd hoped....we sat in nosebleed section, so I knew I'd not see the stage well, but we were parallel to the screens and couldn't see much at all. I assumed beforehand that screens would be not only front-on but sideways as well. Will see U2 again when I can afford 2K tickets but overall the stadium was comfortable and wonderful, sound was fantastic, and show was top notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! They played a fantastic show! For anyone dating back 30+ years it was memorable. All the hits were played the sound and lighting matched the performance. Not much political. And played every banger you can think of including some current. They understand their audience. They may be bored of their songs but was certainly not. Couple songs seemed generally happy as a group to hit all the transitions and marks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The acoustics were horrible The seats we bought through Ticketnetwork should NEVER have been sold. We paid $240 and could not see any of the graphics being displayed on the backdrops. The acoustics were horrible. The instrumentals were audible but the lyrics were not. Luckily I know the words to the songs so I could figure it out. The venue is way too big for a concert. Extremely disappointed in a concert I was looking forward to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concert. Both One Repubkic and U2 were amazing. The sound on U2 was a bit loud to the point it caused a lot of vibrations and sound distortion. My seats unfortunately were behind the sound booth in the front row of 119. I was unable to see any of One Republic except for the screen. I was unable to see U2 once they moved back. Theses were very expensive seats and a bit disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal! I cannot believe how they rocked 7 classic songs to start off, such an awesome start! They sent a great message of inclusion and love for all and I loved the dedication to women! My favorite moment was hearing ONE, that has been a dream of mine and it came true last night! That's my all time favorite song, I had lots of tears of happines.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as previous U2 concerts They did a very good job of creating a backdrop of not just them on the big screen but pictures of Joshua Tree, etc. However, I felt more like I was at Disneyland -- the special effects on the screen were so over the top. Also, seats at the Rose Bowl and parking, etc. were just horrendous. Uncomfortable and unorganized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best show ever it took forever to get in the security was a joke but after that everything was awesome. to anyone going to a concert at the clink get there early, don't take a big purse, use paper tickets{the line for e tickets was extremely long] and we walked right in, take the elevator if your seat isn't close to the field[the ramps suck], and if buying merchandise if one stand doesn't have what you want another one will. Mumford and sons were awesome and they sounded excellent. they played all my favorites off all their cds and even their new one which I loved. I was disappointed that they didn't play longer I could have listened to them all day. our seats were way up top but the benefits to that is if it's really hot or raining the overhang completely protects you. U2 was good they did all their best songs off Joshua tree and the best part was when they brought Eddie Vedder and Mumford and sons out to perform with them. it was an outstanding show I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concert, but too early I love U2 and The Lumineers! I got upset because I was stucked in traffic and lost almost the whole first show! They got on stage exactly at 7 pm and, specially during weekdays, is hard on those who work before the concert! But overall, both bands are fantastic! Price over too high for the seats I got!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very desapointing Very very desapointing! Super far for $200/ ticket and no screen for the 1st songs! Then we had a long screen with landscaping view. Once a while we were seen bono and his band! Very poor and no energetic ambiance ! Btw one republic was great but over hour of wait between the bands!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great experience! Both bands were incredible. The video show was absolutely amazing and the energy was great. The Lumineer's sound was better than U2's. In my opinion the guitars dominated Bono's vocals which made it difficult to follow lyrics (that's why only 4 stars) Overall a great concert!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!! Mumford and Sons opened and they were amazing. I wish they could have played longer. U2 was more than I could have ever expected. It was the Joshua Tree Tour (which is my favorite), but they threw in a couple of other songs from other albums, as well. The venue was awesome

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concert! Bad seats! The concert was great - especially loved Mumford & sons. Impressive!! Start of U2 concert should've been shown on the big screen. Bought tickets about 6 months ago and ended up in the top row of the top section. Early buyers should get the lower seats in the section!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Spiritual Experience This show was extraordinary... with the wide screen backdrop the entire length of the stage, amazingly clear and creative images as well as a stable sound system. Oh yes-- the music was really a spiritual experience for me. Friends of mine were in tears (in a good way).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from U2 and One Republic in Cleveland - Best Ever! One Republic absolutely killed it! When Bono came out and said "Get ready for an EPIC NIGHT" he was NOT KDIDDING. Weather turned out perfect despite storm threats until that day. NEVER SAT DOWN THE WHOLE NIGHT. Seat upgrades we got were amazing. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Great energy, great show! I like U2 but went mainly because my husband LOVES them. After watching them perform together, I love them too! Cool that they've been together so long. Also... how could you wrong with Mumford and sons opening for you!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this show so much! Just an amazing show. One Republic was great and although I've seen them many times, God still walks through the room at every U2 concert. Left jacked up on joy! The Edge just gets better if that's even possible and the video boards were stunning!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic concert...But I enjoyed the show however it would have been even better if they used the Jumbotron screens for it. We were so far away that we could not tell if Bono and the crew were even there. For the cost of the tickets that should have been mentioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fantastic! THANK YOU!!! My significant other and I were so happy to be blessed to see U2 live in concert! We can cross this off our bucket list and create a new item for our bucket list to see U2 again when they're in Chicago. Super fantastic show!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Show, Good Venue Really enjoyed the show. Lumineers sounded good and were great as warm up show. U2 was outstanding, rejuvenating past songs to make for an excellent environment and energetic show. Simple theatrics but always exceptional and "big".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from U2 concert in Rose Bowl I think rose bowl is not a place appropriate for this type of concert. I could not see them very well, and I Paid 300 for the tickets. They trying to feed 200.000 people or more, for small view. Horrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Concert The show was really good. Bono sounded great! Played most of the best known Joshua Tree songs in the beginning of the show. Seats directly in line with the stage so we couldn't see the backdrop/screens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great We came from France and we were so exited to attend this show. We really enjoyed it because all was so great. Bono was generous, so implicated in world state... and his voice was just perfect.

U2 was formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1976 by drummer Larry Mullen, Jr., under the name "Feedback." It was originally a Beatles and Rolling Stones tribute band that consisted of Mullen, Paul Hewson (Bono), Dave Evans (The Edge), and his older brother Dik Evans. The elder Evans left the band about a half year later when its name had changed to The Hype, which pared the group down to the quartet it is today. Shortly thereafter they changed name one final time to U2. After winning a talent show in Limerick in 1978, the band had enough money to record a demo tape, and by the end of that year they had a manager, Paul McGuiness.

The band released an EP called Three in the fall of 1979. It was a hit in Ireland and, along with a the 1980 Irish chart-topping single "Another Day," won the band a contract with Island Records. Although they had found success at home, it would be some time before U2 would gain as much attention abroad. The process began with the release of their first studio album, Boy, and particularly the single "I Will Follow." According to fan site U2 Gigs, this song has remained a staple of U2 performances, even 30 years after it was released. Throughout the early and mid-1980s, U2 gained a following in the U.K. October, released in 1981, produced hit singles "Fire" and "Gloria," and War was the band's first album to top the chart in any country, doing so in the U.K. All three of the album's singles, "New Year's Day," "Two Hearts Beat as One," and "Sunday Bloody Sunday," were hits in various countries.

U2 finally broke into the mainstream abroad with the 1987 release of The Joshua Tree. The album has sold over 25 million copies worldwide and has been certified diamond in the U.S., and 6x platinum in the UK. The band had another hit with 1991's Achtung Baby, which has sold over 8 million copies just in the U.S. During the '90s, the band was forced to reinvent itself to meet with the changing musical tastes of music listeners. To do so, they incorporated different sounds of different genres, such as dance and industrial, into the album. The band even innovated new ways to entertain fans, adding multimedia and other visual influences during the Zoo TV Tour.

The quartet was able to return to their roots with All That You Can't Leave Behind, including the smash hit "Beautiful Day." In 2004, U2 released How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, including the chart-topper "Vertigo," which was highly publicized in a series of iPod commercials for Apple, Inc. In February 2009, the band released No Line on the Horizon, which topped the charts and has been certified platinum in multiple countries. In 2014 the band released Songs of Innocence. U2 is now set to relase a follow up album titled Songs of Experience in 2017, and the band will tour in 2017 for the new album and 30th anniversary of Joshua Tree. Over the course of its existence, U2 has performed or recorded with B.B. King, Paul McCartney, Green Day, and Johnny Cash, along with many others.
