Rated 5 out of 5 by from All three bands were stellar! What I really love about Tedeschi Trucks is how they merge with the other bands on the ticket. TD band's added horn section was a treat and their backup singers/players were spot on. Susan Tedeschi just keeps getting better chops on the guitar and as always, her vocal range and tone is one of the best ever for blues and rock. I like that she looks like a mom and then kicks *ss on the guitar while belting out the blues! No pretention, no theatrics, no objectifying women! Note to the soundman: although I LOVE listening to Derek's slide guitar, at times, he was much too loud in the mix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful night of excellent inspiring music Here was an opportunity to experience two great bands, both with a knack for performing terrific rock and roll with a subtle Christian theme in their lyrics. Both bands produce a wide range of styles that capture the moods of life - complete with the trials, tragedies, uplifting moments and redemption. They did not disappoint. Switchfoot worked the crowd first with Jon Foreman making several forays into the audience. Lifehouse followed suit, playing many songs from their early days. The crowd was inspired by the music, standing for most of the concert to soak in the moments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a very good concert. While I love B Raitt on cd, her performance was not as strong in person at all. Her choice of songs was lacking, choosing only a few the audience knew and loved. the venue was terrible! Wolf Trap sold way too many lawn tickets so more than 100 people were in lawn Siberia with NO view whatsoever AND the acoustics were very bad. A lot of people in this area left early and after spending more than $80 for a lawn ticket, it was a VERY disappointing experience all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still Rockin' Strong There was no better way to spend a warm D.C. evening than under the stars with a nice breeze, listening to awesome music from the B-52's. The surprise bonus was the opening act by the The Romantics. Both bands still rock hard, playing everyone's all-time favorites! The seating was excellent, allowing for lots of dancing in place. I had so much fun, can't wait to see them again and also check this summer's line-up! Rock Lobster!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blondie Concert I brought my entire family to see Blondie last night and have to share our overall disappointment as the first band, Garbage, played until almost 9:30 pm - We didn't come to see Garbage, only Blondie, and, although she was great, we couldn't stay until the end as it was so late...Was only able to hear 6 songs and then had to leave - Exhausting night listening to a band for 2-hours+ that we never would have seen otherwise...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible concert -- very disappointed! The sound was muddy, loud, and zero artistic value. Elvis is a legendary musician but maybe Wolf Trap was too large a venue. He and his band sounded like an entry level loud rock and roll band. Or perhaps, his golden years are over. I later saw a review of this same poor performance in other large city--reviewed by music critic with the same reactions as mine. Plenty others were leaving early as we did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous concert! Bonnie Raitt has an incredible voice which just got better as the night went on. The Richard Thomas Trio was amazing too. Incredibly talented musicians and playing together was brilliant. I would say go much earlier, we picnicked on the lawn, which was nice, but could not see the artists at all. The Sound system at Wolf Trap is fabulous, which made all the difference.
