Is any introduction needed? Def Leppard is a legendary Rock and Roll band formed in 1977 with their most success peaking in the 80’s and early 90’s with memorable rock anthems such as ‘Bringin’ on the Heartbreak’ and ‘Put some Sugar on Me’. Joe Elliot (lead vocals) and Rick Savage (bass) are two of the original members and are still members to this day. These two, along with Rick Allen (drums), Phil Collen (guitar) and Vivian Campbell (guitar), are heading out on tour this summer; 43 years since the band’s inception proving that Def Leppard is still rolling and out to spread the word: long live rock and roll.

Critics say that they have found their groove once again with this album. Def Leppard was also a part of the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class. They got by far the most votes out of all the nominees which proves the band’s immense success throughout the (Rock of) Ages.
In 2007, Def Leppard went on their Downstage Thrust Tour, which toured throughout North America. For this tour, Foreigner and Styx, two more beloved rock and roll classics, joined the band and performed 52 shows, concluding in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Their tour is a co-headliner tour with Motley Crue, Poison, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. ‘The Stadium Tour’ is hitting major league ballparks and NFL stadiums only. The question of whether anyone will turn out for these shows is answered by the fact that many of the venues have been sold out and even additional shows have been added to the tour due to popular demand. Its red light, yellow light, green light, go for this group as they get ready for the Stadium Tour alongside four other incredible bands.
