About  Philadelphia Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies Tickets 2019 Outlook

The winners of the National League East from 2007 through 2011 and the World Series in 2008, the Phillies look to do it again in 2019. They added Jean Segura, David Robertson, Andrew McCutchen, and J.T. Realmuto. Six-time NL All-Star Bryce Harper is another valuable new addition. The Phillies are off to a strong start again. Jean Segura, Rhys Hoskins, and Andrew McCutchen are leading the way at the plate. Aaron Nola is a notable starter. Jake Arrieta is pitching winning ball with Hector Neris strong in relief. The recent additions should improve the Phillies offense this year. Their strong 2019 start should put Philadelphia fans scrambling for tickets!

Many people outside the city of Philadelphia may not know this, but the Philadelphia Phillies are the oldest, continuously one-named, one-city franchise in all of professional sports. Named for their hometown, the Philadelphia Phillies have been able to carry on a rich tradition of baseball since its inception in 1883 and have always played in front of some of the most passionate fans in sports. Help carry on that great tradition by getting your Philadelphia Phillies tickets and join the thousands of other fans at Citizens Bank Park.

In the last half of the 20th century, the Philadelphia Phillies were lucky to have a couple of the all-time great players at their positions. Pitcher Steve Carlton was feared by hitters throughout his career, finishing with 329 wins and over 4,000 strikeouts. The left-handed pitcher was inducted into Cooperstown in 1994. Perhaps no Philadelphia Phillies player is more attached to the city for his greatness than third baseman Mike Schmidt. One of the all-time great players to play at the hot corner, Schmidt helped the 1980 Philadelphia Phillies capture the World Series title over the Kansas City Royals, one of only two in franchise history. He won the series MVP that year and will always have a place in the hearts of all fans who have bought Phillies tickets over the years. The other World Series title the Phillies have is from 2008 against the Tampa Bay Rays. That year, the Phillies beat the Rays four games to one and Cole Hamels of the Phillies won MVP.

The Phillies have been performing exceptionally well in the 2018 season. They have already improved on their 66-96 record from the 2017 season. Neck and neck with the Phillies this season are fellow NL East competitors, the Atlanta Braves. Other teams in the NL East the Phillies will have to outplay include the Washington Nationals, the New York Mets, and the Miami Marlins. The Phillies have not had a winning season or a playoff appearance since 2011. Will this be the season they can end their drought? There is only one way to find out! TicketNetwork is your access for all Philadelphia Phillies tickets. Watch your favorite team play live with tickets from TicketNetwork. You won’t want to miss out.
