About Los Lobos
Los Lobos is a rock band from East Los Angeles, California. Created in 1973, Los Lobos translate to “The Wolves” in English. The band is formed by vocal and guitar David Hildago, drummer Louie Pérez, Cesar J. Rosas also singer, songwriter and guitarist, guitar Conrad R. Lozano, saxophonist and keyboardist Steven M. Berlin, Percussionist Enrique González. Their first album Los Lobos del Este from Los Angeles was released in 1978 but they were not so happy with the result, for not having originality, they were singing most American Top 40 songs at that time.
Los Lobos began experimenting with the traditional Mexican music which seems to be more success for the band and what they liked to sing. Soon after singing Mexican music, the band started to receive a positive feedback from the public. Los Lobos started then performing in weeding and dances groups. In 2015, the band were nominated to induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2018 they were inducted into Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. Los Lobos has a great selection of hit songs like: “Will The Wolf Survive”, “One Time One Night”, “Come On, Le’ts Go”, Labamba” and more.
Los Lobos is currently touring for 2020 & 2021, and the tour kick off will be on June 4th in HONOLULU, HI. The tour will pass through several cities in the United States and Europe.
