About  Arizona Diamondbacks

Along with the Tampa Bay Rays, the Arizona Diamondbacks are one of the youngest franchises in Major League Baseball, only joining the league in 1998 as an expansion team. From their inception through the present, the D'backs have played at Chase Field, which is formerly known as Bank One Ballpark. The stadium is often referred to as "The BOB," thanks to the initials of its former name, and is unique from other ballparks across baseball because of its pool just over its centerfield wall.

In the franchise's brief existence, Diamondback fans have had the privilege of watching plenty of winning teams. The team has won five National League West titles to date, most recently in 2011. Of those successes, the most memorable for the people of Arizona came in 2001. Behind ace pitchers Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling, the Diamondbacks captured not only the division title, but were also able to win the National League Championship and eventually went on to defeat the vaunted New York Yankees in seven games to win the franchises one and only World Series title.

Now the team is rebuilding the roster, looking to once again put together a World Series caliber team. The franchise has Paul Goldschmidt a power hitter who have already been All-Stars early into his career. Also on the roster is David Peralta, Ketel Marte, and Nick Ahmed. The 2018 season is the franchise’s 21st season in the MLB. They began their season on March 29th against the Colorado Rockies and will be completing the regular season on September 30th with a game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. The Diamondbacks are currently in first place in the NL West so they will be looking to continue to the postseason. Will the Diamondbacks be able to win their second World Series title? There is only one way to find out! TicketNetwork.com can help connect you to great seats for any game this season. Grab your Arizona Diamond back tickets and head down to Chase Field to cheer on your favorite team.
