George Lopez is an American comedian known for his comedy about race and ethnic relations, and also Mexican American culture. The comedian had his own show called “The George Lopez Show” which consist of six seasons with 120 episodes. The comedian was stopped by the actress Sandra Bullock who asked him to start a tv show because of the lack of the Hispanic community on tv. The TV Show aired on March 2002 to March 2007 and was a big success in the comedy industry. The comedian also had his own Late-night talk show called “Lopez Tonight” from 2009 to 2011. George Lopez was born Mission Hills, Los Angeles, California, son of Frieda and Anatasio Lopez, who migrate to US. Lopez’s was unfortunately desert by his father and mother when he was still a kid and raised by his grandmother and grandfather but that didn’t stop Lopez to succeed in life. The comedian has received numerous honors for his contributions to the Latino community and work.  In 2003 Lopez won the Latino Spirit Award for Excellence in Television and the National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Award. The comedian was also named one of the Top 25 Hispanics in America" by Time magazine in 2005. Lopez was also two times the host for the Latin Grammy Award and co-host for the Emmy Awards. In 2009 he also appeared in the We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial. George Lopez will be on tour with his stand-up comedy stopping through several cities in the US.
